You may have previously heard the title track to Caroline Polachek’s new project, Arcadia, under the moniker Ramona Lisa. She dropped another cut from the album, the pulsating pop flavored “Backward and Upwards”.
We learned a bit more about Arcadia, as well, from a recent interview with Pitchfork. She definitely recorded her vocals straight from her laptop microphone and most interestingly enough, Beyoncé’s “No Angel”, which Polachek did write, was actually for the Arcadia album itself. It’s a great interview, which you can read here.
